Who am I writing this for?

The above question kept coming to mind, to the point where I was obliged to turn it into the title of this first blog post. 

Is this for present me? Future me? 

Other hopeful authors? 

Readers of my stories? There's a dream! 

At the end of the day, there's too much weight on the first of anything, when really the meat of the project is going to make or break it. Why are first pages always the hardest to write? I guarantee I won't be returning to rewrite this post, certainly not dozens of times as I did the first pages of my first book. 

So for now, this is good enough. I'm happy to be here, trying to figure out how in the world to format a website, and grateful for the help I've had along the way. 

I have a book deal. And that's pretty astounding. More to come on the HOW of that later!
